As KJs, we produce a wide variety of genres, from electro house and UK funky, to dubstep and drum n bass and even chill out electronica. Now we’ve decided to produce different genres under new pseudonyms to try and keep things a little clearer. So, our main KJs name is for electro, house, global bass and UK funky. KillaJoulez is our drum & bass, dubstep offshoot whilst KneeJerk is our chilled/experimental electronica offshoot.
Our first new tune under the KillaJoulez name is remix of Hot Shit’s Everybody.
If you’re looking for new UK funky, global bass tracks to add to your Christmas and NYE playlists you won’t go far wrong by downloading this free EP gift from us. It features us and Swedish producer Yeah! Woho!
The collaboration features an original track from each producer, which was then remixed by the other artist resulting in a 4-track bass-fuelled EP!
Our new EP is out at all good digital stores. It includes 3 original tracks from ourselves with remixes coming from Mike Hindle, Bardeenz and Tony Goods.
Happy New Year! So, late last year, we said we’d start uploading some individual tracks to the site, as well as our mixes. So, here are two to get us started. First up is a tune from a rare drum ‘n’ bass set we played last year, ‘Jump‘ by TC, enhanced no end by the Kriss Kross Kids. Second is a mashup of a Baobinga remix of a fairly new, wicked Stanton Warriors tune ‘Blaze‘, given a nice old-skool kick by The Prodigy.
Give them a listen, and let us know what you think!
Knob Jockeys are three digital djs from Manchester, blending breaks, jungle, hip hop, pop and cleverness into a mix that you’ll just have to love. Or hate. It’s up to you really.
