KJs are three Ableton Live DJs/producers from Manchester blending electro house, funky, bass, tropical, rave pop mashups & cleverness into a mix that you’ll just have to love. Or hate. It’s up to you really :)

Here’s our latest tune for your download pleasure – it’s called Troupee, a breaks tune with trouser flappingly terrifying bassline!

Here’s our latest tune, Trancestepper. It’s a bit of a dubstep/trance/electro hybrid.
Rest assured, the trance thing is an experimentation rather than a shift in direction for us

Last night I settled down with a cup of tea and my new copy of DJ Magazine, and then proceeded to spit said tea all over the magazine as I caught sight of our ugly mugs staring back at us!
Our mix has been selected as October’s Pick n Mix winner!

We often find that our mixes take a long time to release as they can get pretty complex and we’re pretty picky when it comes to how it’s put together.
So we decided to also start doing some more simple minimixes of the latest tunes that we’re buzzing about. No clever mixes, no acapellas and no mashups – just top tunes for 40 minutes.

Kiss My Bass Recording have just released their first promo Udy – Real Hustle, is a cheeky booty of a track, utilising the famous Rick Ross acapella.
Remixes come courtesy of II Tone, Vortech, Udy, Mr Vega, Kry Wolf and yours truly.

The summer’s turning into a wash-out, but here’s our new mix to brighten it up! At 1 hour and 9 minutes, it’s a sort of cross between two sets we’ve played recently at Beat Herder and Carry On, with a few extra nuggets thrown in for good measure!

Individual track versions will be available next week…
Our set at Carry On after Rennie Pilgrem last Friday was broadcast live on Radio Glitch, and the good folks there have put the set up for your listening pleasure. The set ends a bit abruptly as the club lights were turned up, but Glitch have done a great job of the sound.
On our quest for new tunes, ideas and inspiration we’re always listening to what other DJs are playing. Over the past year or so there have been a few mixes that have really stood out. Here’s the best (in no order of importance):
The Black Ghosts Mixtape
This mix kinda opened our eyes to how house had moved on recently. Having become disenchanted with the breaks scene, these tunes proved that electronic music could still excite us.
Jack Beats Fabric NYE mix
This was the first time we discovered Jack Beats, and it was love at first listen
Grimy, fat and fun!
Fake Blood’s essential mix
A great collection of most of Fake Blood’s excellent remixes to date. And a great ‘chill-out’ second hour.
Aquasky June Mix
We’ve loved Aquasky for many years, and this mix proves they’re still in the game with these fresh tunes.
We Make It Good: Sinden
This mix dates is getting on a bit now, but it still sounds fresh – featuring (as then) future classics such as Township Funk and Hardcore Girls.
Toddla T & Mr Versatile: Ghettoblaster
In a word: genius. The Sheffield boy mixes up everything from R&B and bassline to drum ‘n’ bass, accompanied by the very funny Mr Versatile.
Hope you enjoy these. What are your favourites?
